2月5日下午，北京冬奥会速度滑冰女子3000米决赛在国家速滑馆“冰丝带”进行，荷兰名将伊雷妮·斯豪滕发挥出色，以3分56秒93的成绩夺得冠军，同时打破了尘封20年的奥运会纪录。这是北京冬奥会首枚速度滑冰金牌。两名参赛的中国选手韩梅和阿合娜尔·阿达克分别夺得第15位和第17位。
