1月10日，中央纪委国家监委网站发文《持续纠治“四风” 弘扬新风正气》，文章提到，虚拟货币“挖矿”能源消耗和碳排放量大，其盲目无序发展与我国碳达峰碳中和和高质量发展目标背道而驰。为防止打着新理念、高科技、数字化旗号“穿新鞋走老路”，浙江省纪委监委开展利用公共资源参与“挖矿”、交易行为整治工作。江西省纪委监委针对开发区一些企业违规从事虚拟货币生产等问题，督促协调有关部门开展调查，及时查处纠正对贯彻新发展理念打折扣、搞变通、做选择的行为。
