新版东方快车「甜蜜生活」号诞生，2023年将在意大利投入运营
2017年，法国雅高酒店集团（Accor）收购了著名“东方快车”品牌的所有者 Orient Express（详见《华丽志》报道：雅高集团收购“东方快车”品牌所有者 Orient Express 50%股权，合力开发奢华酒店）。如今，得益于与意大利公司 Arsenale Spa 达成的一项协议，东方快车将重返意大利，沿着亚平宁半岛上各个标志性目的地，提供奢华、舒缓与环保的旅行体验，即全新诞生的东方快车「La Dolce Vita」甜蜜生活号。
从2023年开始，六列火车将通过标志性的旅行路线，穿越意大利境内的14个大区和三个国际目的地，将罗马与巴黎、伊斯坦布尔和斯普利特（克罗地亚）连接起来。意大利境内的路线总长度达16000公里。
