“守候与等待是为了久违的重逢。”今天，苹果发布了2021 圣诞广告《Saving Simon》（拯救西蒙），用以致敬那些我们等待了整整一年的人。
该片由奥斯卡提名导演Ivan Reitman 和他的儿子 Jason Reitman共同导演，讲述了一位小女孩为了留住雪人Simon，将它冷藏在冰箱里直至冬季到来。故事采用暗喻的手法，以雪人暗指那些我们守候已久等待重逢的友人。情节虽然没有过多的波澜起伏，但却看到了一颗童心的宝贵。
该片由 iPhone 13 Pro 完成拍摄，片中虽然没有直接出现 iPhone，但通过拍摄内容可以感受到iPhone 13 Pro 的一些功能，例如微距和电影模式。Jason Reitman 在广告的幕后花絮视频中表示：“这是成为电影制作人最伟大的时刻，如果你想写故事，你就拿起一支铅笔；如果你想写歌，那就拿起一把吉他。如果你现在想拍电影，你只需拿起一部 iPhone。”
但不得不说一下，如果没有这些采访介绍，它很有可能让人误认为这是一支冰箱广告。
