平时文件系统只读，需要时可写？

请问如何实现？我记得以前在网上搜索到相关内容，大概是用 DEBIAN 或其它 LINUX 系统做家用路由器，配置好以后把文件系统设置为只读，意外掉电也不会损坏文件系统，需要时可以进入可写状态，维护好系统后又可进入只读状态。可惜现在搜寻不到了。
