高通CEO克里斯蒂亚诺·阿蒙（Cristiano Amon）在投资者日直播中表示：“Oculus Quest 2的销量已达1000万台”，这应该是目前有关Quest 2销量的最高值。不过该数值仅代表行业分析师对第三方市场规模预估的平均值，不能代表Meta或是高通正式披露的数值。
今年8月，Oculus即将走马上任的首席技术官Andrew Bosworth曾表示，他相信1000万VR用户的目标会比他们预想中更早一步到来。
从Quest 2上市后的情况来看，表现亮眼，其不断蚕食SteamVR头显的份额，最近的硬件调查也显示，Meta系列头显的占比已超过35%。
2022年，苹果与索尼VR头显的上市，或会对Meta产生强有力竞争，以索尼为例，索尼推出的初代PSVR头显虽然需要依靠PS4或PS5游戏主机的用户，但PSVR头显至2019年底销量达500万台。
