Samsung Galaxy S21 FE to Launch in January, Full Focus on Europe

Samsung is projected to take the wraps off the Galaxy S21 FE at some point in January, but surprisingly, the company isn’t planning to sell the device globally.

Instead, according to a report, the South Koreans want to focus mostly on Europe, and not even their domestic market would receive the new Galaxy S21 FE.

On the other hand, Samsung is very likely to still bring the new FE to markets like India, especially because this is where the previous version of the device sold very well in the first place.

Needless to say, Samsung has remained completely tight-lipped on everything so far, so you should take these details with a healthy pinch of salt.

Galaxy S22 also due in January

The timing, on the other hand, doesn’t make much sense at first glance.

This is because January is also the month witnessing the debut of the new-generation Galaxy S models, and this year, Samsung is expected to take the wraps off the Galaxy S22.

Previously, the company used February for the unveiling of its new Galaxy S models, but starting this year when it introduced the Galaxy S21, this approach has been changed and the new Unpacked event takes place in January.

So in other words, both the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy S22 could be announced during the same month, though at this point, it’s not yet known if the company wants to unveil the two models at the same Unpacked event or not.

If it doesn’t, then the Galaxy S21 FE could see the daylight only virtually with a press announcement, while the actual sales would start later the same month. The Galaxy S22, on the other hand, will be unveiled as part of the already-famous Unpacked event, this time with sales typically kicking off a couple of weeks after the show.
