It's been one year I started cp and 6 months in CF but still a newbie. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. can you review my profile and say what should I do to become a pupil? Thank you for your valuable time.

Solve more tough problems brother...Like I see ur problem u have solved very few problems of rating 1200/1300/1400 solve 50 problems for each and give some virtual contest u will see the improvement in some time :)

virtual contests, problems of tag X+200 to X+400.(where X is your current rating),and you should know standard DSA problems if not learn them and most important thing consistency.

have you tried doing ladders? you can search "cf ladders" on the internet
you can get extra motivation too, climbing all the ladders

You can start by choosing a more original username...
-
I really want to change my username. When i started CF i was big fan of YouKn0wWho and don't know why i copied his name. but now i feel like i shouldn't have used his name. And still a fan of him.
-
Well, good news, you are given the opportunity to change your name at the end of the year. So make use of it.
-
Is it temporary? I don't know about it. Can you elaborate, please?
-
Every end of the year, everybody gets the chance to change their name permanently. Also, for a temporary time, you can set whatever color you want your name to be. (the period when all newbies set their color to LGM)

!following

1st: Remove that profile picture, believe that scaring away from problems is not an achievement.
2nd: Make a habit to solve 1100-1400 rating problems fast (practice 1100-1400 problems).

see reaching pupil is very easy if you became serious for cp,only sitting in front of pc will not make you better , solve atleast 3-5 problem a day, do it for 14 day continuosly and even if you didnt improve then bro quit cp
-
This is very bad suggestion man :(
-
See the thing is he is caring for rating that simply means he dont enjoy process , the enjoy of giving contest, solving problem , seeing ac . So even after solving 5 quality problem for 15-20 days continuosly he didnt reach pupil(his goal) ,then its better for him to explore something other.
-
You didn't get me bro. i just asked if i am doing something wrong because it's a long time I am a newbie. And if my rating is not improving that means i am doing something wrong that is why i asked you guys for help.

I want to give you 2*10^5 downvotes
-
can I know reasons ? I am active on cp community cause I find fun in it , cp is not something which is compulsary even after grinding hard for 15 days if he will not achieve his target then it must affect his mental health for sure (he is already sad) and then its better to explore other stuff than to feel sad about rating.
-
you don't set a target like that I will grind for 15 days ,if then I don't reach my goal I will quit.He should only quit only and only if he hates to code. But he shouldn't quit because of failures.Thinking about rating doesn't indicate lack of interest in cp,it may indicate his lack of emotional intelligence and experience. Also how can you guarantee that if someone has a bright future he will sure reach pupil after 15 days???Many people didn't reach pupil in 15 days who are currently red coder
-
i dont know , I just hate people complaining about stuck in same rating zone without enough practise , also if he is feeling depressed then he must quit, depression is not joke
-
If he isn't practicing and still complaining for being stuck then he has lack of sense or maturity. But how does that indicate that he should quit?? Quit is a very harsh word you used my friend. And I don't think he is through depression. It's not easy to be depressed and yes it's not a joke
-
bro getting depressed for some internet point is not good , you know right what is depression?(as he said depressed from my performance in his blog title)
-
I know it very well.I have faced every level of depression. The fact is even if you do the work you love you can get depressed, if you don't execute well. For that you can improve to get out of that, but certainly not quit
-
fish can't climb tree but no one is better than it in swimming . I just meant that if you are spending good amount of time on this and still is below average then you should explore other stuff , it may be possible that you are naturally good in other stuff and with same amount of labour you can be one of the best. Its not cool to feel depressed about some internet point.
-
-
Bro you are taking the word depression too much seriously. i'm not that level depressed. Cool bro. When i will figure out my mistake, this depression will go automatically. as you said i need to solve more quality problem i think that is an answer of my question and i'm going to do that. i'm not going stuck with this depression thing. i hope you got me. Thank You btw.

don't quit ,give contests as much as you can try to practice till 1400 rated problems.Try to solve at least two problems in contests
Following this one may help you.

I don't care how low your elo is. I believe every newbie and pupil should be practicing 1500 rated problems (recent, not old ones). I started on cf roughly at the same time as you, and at some point (very early) I just spammed 1500 rated problems and I guess it worked. Please, stop solving A's and B's out of contests, just make yourself uncomfortable.
