特朗普的新社交应用被发现违反了自由软件许可证

美国前总统特朗普本周宣布了一个新社交应用 TRUTH Social，它很快被发现是基于自由软件社交网络 Mastodon。Mastodon 采用的是 AGPLv3 许可证，允许自由修改代码，但按照许可证要求必须公开其修改的代码。TRUTH Social 尚未遵守这一要求。Mastodon 创始人 Eugen Rochko 目前无意讨论是否对 TRUTH 未遵守许可证的行为采取法律行动，只是声明遵守 AGPLv3 要求很重要。TRUTH 将在 11 月向受邀请的用户开放测试。
