印度新冠疫苗接种数量突破 10 亿剂，相比今年初因 Delta 变种感染人数激增医院瘫痪的情况，现在堪称是一个里程碑。在印度符合接种条件的成年人口中，约 75% 至少接种了一剂，30% 完成了两剂接种。印度是在中国之后第二个接种数量突破 10 亿剂的人口大国。中国的新冠疫苗接种在八月底突破了 20 亿剂次，8.9 亿人完成全程接种。印度官员表示，第二剂接种是目前的优先事项。
