Global Operations' mission is to improve the health of Facebook’s products and help people understand how to use them through both direct support interactions as well as scalable solutions. Scaled Operations, within Global Operations, manages the human expertise required for the integrity and experience of our community and business. The Performance Management Team is a horizontal team within Scaled Operations that focuses on providing a balanced performance of our human content review operations using data analytics. We use data and metrics to provide an understanding of business performance, surface strategic problems, and generate actionable insights to help Scaled Operations teams make better decisions. If you like helping people using data, Performance Management is for you. You’ll have the opportunity to do exciting and highly visible work that directly impacts Facebook Global Operations.

Data Analyst Responsibilities
Analyse data independently to deliver insights about operational performance and proactively drive improvements
Investigate key problem areas by performing root cause analyses, corroborating quantitative and qualitative findings
Effectively plan and collaborate with a global team on data driven initiatives to solve complex operational problems
Collaborate with operations and data-focused teams within and outside Scaled Operations to solve problems, develop solutions and share insights
Apply data expertise to successfully support cross-functional operational needs
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Finance, or other technical disciplines, or relevant experience in a quantitative field
3+ years of experience in data, reporting, analytical problem solving
2+ years hands on experience with SQL
1+ years of experience in project managing data-centric projects
Strong communication skills with experience explaining technical concepts to technical and business partners
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on experience building Interactive Visualizations such as Tableau, etc.
Hands on experience in Programming Languages such as Python, R or any other programming languages
Experience and understanding of statistical analysis (experimentation logic and biases, hypothesis testing, probability, prevalence measurement, regressions)
Ability to make impactful presentations
Demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functions and time zones
Working experience within operational ecosystems
