Scaling front-end development to multiple teams is hard and micro-frontends bring the recent trend of breaking up monoliths into smaller manageable pieces by applying that architecture pattern to the frontend as well. Simply put, micro frontends are microservices for the front-end.
Vikash shares his experiences working on a micro-frontend project, compares it with a traditional project and mono-repos. We further discuss the advantages/disadvantages of the pattern and when to prefer Micro-frontends.
