What’s new in Focused Insights 2.0 SP8

New delivery process for Focused Insights corrections

Until ST-OST SP8 waves notes were created to provide fixes and small enhancements for Focused Insight Setup,

Starting with Wave 9.0, the delivery will be changed to 5 dedicated standard SAP Notes containing single correction notes.

Enhanced security

With SP8, all remaining pieces of codes from Open Sources libs has been removed.

Configuration setup improvements

Focused Insight Setup provides 2 reports to update the different contents:

  • Update the list of Data Providers available in the OCC dashboard.
  • Update the configuration for the Tactical security scenario to the new configuration.

Remarks:

An additional check has been implemented for System modifications.

OCC Data Providers (DP_CRM) supports saved CRM UI VIEW

the new function from the DP_CRM allows to use the fully customizable view using CRM saved search view features.

It will benefit to the DISPLAY_TABLE renderer, by increasing the number of available columns/fields and data coming form CRM.

The selection is independent from the Saved Search, (Standard to specific).

TAC Security Enhancement scenario (starting with SP7)

This new feature allows to select any of the Target system check configured in Configuration Validation. This will allow to create as much as security check needed.

As a reminder only the following check were done before SP7:

  • Number of Critical Transactions ,
  • Number of Unauthorized Users : SAP_ALL Users,
  • Number of Unauthorized Users : SAP_DEV Users,
  • Open Clients,
  • Number of Non-compliant Security Parameters,
  • Number of Critical RFCs
