Facebook AI Research 与密歇根州立大学的计算机科学家合作构建出一种原型系统，能以 99% 的精度识别 deepfake（利用神经网络伪造的） 图像。系统还能推断用于伪造图像的神经网络架构，比如说这批图像是用模型 A 创造的，而那些图像则是用模型 B 创造的。他们的论文发表在预印本网站 arxiv 上。论文作者之一的 Facebook 研究员 Tal Hassner 称他们的逆向工程方法依赖于发现生成 deepfake 图像背后的 AI 模型的独特模式。
