I challenge you to provide the full source code. According to your description, AVX512 path was hand-optimized by an Intel employee. But not the AVX2 path. Sounds fishy at best 
Where did I say that the AVX2 path isn't optimized?
Let's be honest: no source, student project, patched by Intel, and very surprising results. It requires a bit more transparency.
