碳链价值APP讯，加拿大央行副行长周三表示，该行正在开发一种类似现金的数字货币，会在需要时推出，但目前尚无发行这种货币的充分理由。副行长Timothy Lane在关于加密货币的小组讨论中表示：「说到我们的进展阶段，目前看还没有发行数字货币的充分理由，但全世界都在加速发展。」
Lane说加拿大央行正在密切关注可能出现的促进因素，包括现金使用量急剧下降，或某家大型科技公司准备推出一种能迅速网罗消费者的加密资产。Lane说该行正与私营部门合作，推进「概念验证」实验，但在确定其数字货币的具体模式之前，还有很多工作要做。（路透社）
