The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro and Video Doorbell 4 Are Now Available for Pre...

Ring has announced the Floodlight Cam Wired Pro and the Video Doorbell 4. The former packs some of the best features of the recently launched Video Doorbell Pro 2, while the video doorbell is an improved version of the Video Doorbell 3 from last year.

The floodlight features two ultra-bright LED floodlights of 2000-lumens that are motion-activated. It also features Alexa integration and can record HDR videos in 1080p resolution.

Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro Is a Smart Floodlight

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is the successor to the original Floodlight Cam that launched over four years ago. The latest floodlight from the company features a camera between the two LED lights that can record 1080p HDR videos. It also features color night vision.

There's also a radar that allows the floodlight to offer 3D Motion Detection, which can show the exact location and time of when a motion event starts. You can also get a Bird's Eye View of someone's movement in front of the floodlight from the app.

For safety purposes, the Floodlight Cam Wired Prof features a 110dB siren, an array microphone, and a speaker for two-way communication. The floodlight has Alexa integration, so you can use the digital assistant to check on your property from any Alexa-compatible device.

Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro Price and Availability

The Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro is available in black and white colors for $249.99. It is available for pre-order at Ring.com, with shipments expected to start on May 6, 2021. Ring has also slashed the price of the original Floodlight Cam to $199.99.

Ring Video Doorbell 4 Can Record Color Pre-Roll Video

The Ring Video Doorbell 4 is a minor upgrade over the Video Doorbell 3 from last year. The new model can record pre-roll video in full color, meaning you can now see the activity four seconds before someone presses the doorbell in color.

There's also a new Quick Replies feature that will allow the doorbell to automatically respond to visitors when you are not at home. There's no Alexa support here, so you won't be able to use the digital assistant to greet guests.

The Ring Video Doorbell 4 can either be hardwired or run off batteries. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. It can record videos in 1080p resolution, albeit not in the square aspect ratio as seen on the Video Doorbell Pro 2.

Ring Video Doorbell 4 Price and Availability

Ring's latest video doorbell is available for pre-order and will go on sale in the US starting April 28. This will be followed by UK availability on May 5 and Australia on May 6. The Ring Video Doorbell 4 will retail for $199.99 and can be purchased from Ring.com.
