Content creators are slowly becoming a less rare breed because of the low barrier for entry. It's easy to create content and share it online, but creating content that resonates with and keeps an audience is quite the challenge.

Both Adobe and TikTok recognize this, which is why the two companies are working together to help a small handful of influencers with their production.

Adobe and TikTok Team Up to Present #LevelUpWithAdobe

On Thursday, a post to the Adobe Blog announced that the company is partnering with TikTok UK to launch #LevelUpWithAdobe, a program designed to help influential and budding creators alike to improve their content creation skills.

#LevelUpWithAdobe will last for eight weeks, and will consist of a series of Premiere Pro and Photoshop workshops held by Adobe Insider and Ambassador Joe Allam. Creators will learn how to make a polished production from the comfort of their own home, and will be challenged to showcase their skills.

The Adobe Communications Team writes that it was "a no brainer" to team up with TikTok, as online video content is currently taking the internet by storm.

Why TikTok? By 2022, online videos will make up more than 82% of all consumer internet traffic, a massive 15 times higher than in 2017. And this is increasingly being driven by social platforms and UGC video sites, where people create all manner of weird and wonderful content to connect with friends and family – with brands increasingly getting in on the act.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like #LevelUpWithAdobe is a program that is open to just anyone.

Instead of sharing a sign-up link or registration form, the post continues by highlighting some up-and-coming TikTok creators—implying that Adobe and/or TikTok will select (or perhaps, has already selected) which users will be offered the chance to join the program.

TikTok launched its #LearnOnTikTok educational program in June 2020, which #LevelUpWithAdobe is a part of. Later in November of that same year, TikTok added a Learn tab to the app's main menu.

This isn't the first time the short form video platform has hosted something like this in 2021. Last February, TikTok announced a similar educational content creation program in celebration of Black History Month.

TikTok Continues to Provide Resources for Aspiring Content Creators

TikTok Community, Programmes & Events Manager George Nikolaou says that #LevelUpWithAdobe demonstrates TikTok's commitment to supporting its community. "[We are] providing them with the tools and insight they need for long-term success on TikTok and within the creative industry at large," he says.

You can see what the involved creators are up to by checking the Adobe UK Blog regularly. The company says it'll "chart the[ir] journey" there. Alternatively, you can keep an eye out for the #LevelUpWithAdobe series on TikTok LIVE over the next few weeks.
