Slow and stalling for me, as well. The site started running very slow in the last 20 minutes. A lot of times Safari or FireFox times out trying to load a forum page, or hangs for several seconds before the page loads.

Yes, stalling, freezing, and taking an age to load for me, as well. The site is running slow again. It is taking about 6 - 7 seconds for pages to load. And often times when responding to a post, it doesn't load probably and there is no quoted text.

Likewise, and again, today. It's become super slow in the last 30 minutes, or so. Very slow especially when opening threads. Tried different browsers, devices and internet connections.

For me too when clicking on anything. The site started running very slow in the last 20 minutes. A lot of times Safari or FireFox times out trying to load a forum page, or hangs for several seconds before the page loads.
Lots of error 525 - SSL handshake errors and the odd error 522 as well.
And "oops, we ran into a problem"
And now error 520 -
Web server is returning an unknown error

Backend infrastructure on the fritz again...I'm sure we will see another article about some sort of routing error on The Verge later today...It’s a shame half the world is currently in lockdown. If this wasn’t the case it would be because Macrumors wants us to get off our macs / pcs and get a life off the web.

I’m in the Pacific Time zone, so no issues here. If it’s an issue related to DNS resolution, try using Cloudflare WARP or using Cloudflare’s reliable DNS instead. It’s a shame half the world is currently in lockdown. Cloudflare itself believes that the problem is on the macrumors side. It "feels" like a database issue to me, but I could be completely off-kilterBackend infrastructure on the fritz again...I'm sure we will see another article about some sort of routing error on The Verge later today...
