lol there is a patch every 1-2 days. i played about 30 hours of the game then deleted it. i was playing version 1.03. i didn't have any game breaking bugs, but my disappointment really stemmed from how ubisoft-like the game was. and the a.i. is so stupid. i then just deleted the game.

The AI is not stupid. Rather, there is no AI.

I hope the updates mentioned above are not all the updates as part of this patch. On the the series S, this patch is 15.35GB.

For me on pc it was a small 509MB download. But then I think they have way more console specific fixes in this update than on the pc.

Depends on how the patching system works. The files in this game are huge, like, 11GB+ archives, and on PC it basically downloads a differential patch and applies it, that means, you need about 20GB of free space so that a temporary file can be created which will then replace the old file... Maybe on console instead of doing that they just download the archive again from scratch. Slower, but uses far less memory and hard drive to update

My decision to not buy or play it before I get RTX 3080/RX6800XT proved to be a good one. By the time I'll actually be able to buy either graphic card, the game might actually be playable default_tongue.png

I jumped on the Stadia offer! A Chromecast Ultra+controller+cyberpunk 2077 $55. I’m flabbergasted, game streaming is the future. The consoles launched this year will be the last, coming generations will be streaming boxes for sure.

Someone who is unaware that the internet isn't the same everywhere you go. Remember there's still millions of people still on connections less than 10Mbps.

Stadia is working flawlessly on even a 4G connection. I guess people in Australia have access to 4G in 2020?

Might start a game of it tonight and see how I go on PC.

At least on XSX frame rate performance seemed to have become a tad worse with 1.05.

So, good to hear.

whatever it did, it cut my load times on PC in half

This game is awesome. Still loving it! I think it's just great how there is SO much to do in Night City. It plays so great on Stadia!

Going tangent here, any reason why you picked this via Stadia? I know a couple of guys who bought this on Stadia because they don't have powerful PCs and the new consoles are nowhere to be seen.

Stadia sure seems to be chipping away some people who might otherwise end up with a console.

Bought in on Stadia due to the insane offer. And now I’m sold, Stadia is amazing.

I preordered it on Stadia but I cancelled it. Honestly I'm not sure I shouldn't have just kept it but I still have a pretty damn good PC.

I don't have a pc that can run it, and the consoles are MIA, and pricey. This just needs really good internet which I already had anyway.

Plus I had been testing Stadia before it's launch and it worked great then for me.

Plus I love the fact that it can now be accessed on any device that can run the chrome browser! Hard to beat getting to Cyberpunk on chromecast, tablets, phones, AND pc desktop with just one purchase. It's great!

And no downloads at all too! Love it!

At this point, I'm just giving up on Cyberpunk 2077 for 6+ months. I'll see if it's still buggy trash and check to see if there's a sale.

I feel lucky to have had very few bugs. I'm 100+hrs in and on my 2nd play through. Really loving the game. Probably because I avoided all the PR and hype about it so dint know what to expect. I also feel people are glossing over how well written the story is. They do a great job of making you care about all the characters.

I have had a similar experience on my Series X. The only weird bug I had was flicker textures after quick resume on the day one release. Since then, no major bugs at all and on my second play through as well.

The story has been awesome and I hope they get the other platforms up and going as I really think most would enjoy the game's story and world if not for the issues they are having.

Have not run in to a bug that makes me want to stop playing. Some of the glitches, like sound going out while driving or some screen popups not going away, can be fixed by just completely exiting out of the game. Devs are actively addressing issues and pushing out updates as well. Every update is an improvement.

I hope CD Projekt Red paying sites like Neowin for giving them so much attention for a dumpster fire of a game.
