微软贡献两项滚动特性，Chrome 和 Edge 均从中受益
在开源平台和社区 Chromium 上，微软已经成为仅次于谷歌的最大贡献者。近期针对 Chromium 的改进提案中，微软带来了两个全新滚动特性，让谷歌 Chrome 浏览器和基于 Chromium 的 Edge 浏览器获得更流畅、更舒适的滚动体验。
第一个滚动特性称之为“percent-based scrolling”（基于百分比的滚动），允许浏览器将鼠标滚轮或者键盘滚动解释为预期滚动条的百分比，这意味着在启用该功能之后滚动体验会更加流畅。
微软表示正努力将经典版 Edge 浏览器的优秀特性移植到 Chromium 平台上，而基于百分比的滚动方式只是其中之一。该功能已经在 Chrome Canary 通道版本中上线，用户可以通过“Percent-based Scrolling”Flag 来启用。
另一个滚动特性叫做“Windows-specific touch-initiated fling animation”（Windows 特有的触控启动的 fling 动画）。该提案已经获得批准，用户可以在 Chrome Canary 通道版本中启用该 Flag。
微软表示在该 Flag 启用之后，能够像经典版本 Edge 以及其他本地应用一样获得滚动体验。总体而言，该特性的目标就是让滚动行为变得更加顺滑。用户可以在 Chrome Canary 通道版本中的“Enable experimental fling animation” Flag 启用该特性。
