微信是腾讯旗下拳头产品，可官方网站长期委身于weixin.qq.com的二级域名下，只因为weixin.com这个极品域名并不属于腾讯，直到现在……weixin.com域名注册于2000年11月，而腾讯微信是2011年发布的。2015年4月，9秒社团创始人李明从域名圈大佬队长手中收购了weixin.com，坊间传闻价格超过3000万元，随后李明便使用这个域名建立了微信开发者社区“很快”。
