Debian 每年都会通过内部选举产生新一届的项目领导人，任期一年，以代表 Debian 的公共形象。今年，连续 4 年担任领导人的 Jonathan Carter 将新掌门人之位交给了 Andreas Tille。
Andreas Tille，物理学本科毕业于德国马丁路德大学哈雷/维滕贝格（Martin-Luther-Universität Halle/Wittenberg），同时他也是一位摄影爱好者。自 1998 年 5 月加入 Debian 开发团队以来，Tille 已经拥有 26 年的丰富经验。
2004 年，Tille 发起了 Debian Med 项目，旨在创建一个满足医疗实践和生物医学研究特殊需求的操作系统。作为 Debian 开发者，他负责着维护众多软件包，具体列表可在这里查看。
