How to back up and Import blog content from one blog to another Blog in Blogger ?

In this article, you will learn about how you can back up your blog posts, pages, and comments from one blog and import all the content to another blog by using the manage blog options in Blogger. This process can also be used to Back up your Blog content before deleting the blog.

In the implementation what we will do is first will take the backup of existing blogger (i.e., old blog) and then we will shift to the new blog to import the XML document content of old blog posts, pages, and comments.

Note:Blogger community mentions that there’s a daily limit on the number of files you can import but no file size restrictions.

How to back up and Import your blog content:

Step 1: Log in to your Blogger.

Step 2: Navigate to Settings >> scroll down to Manage blog section of the page

Step 3: To import the content to another blog we should take the backup of the content. To take the backup the content click on Back up content under Manage blog

Click on DOWNLOAD to backup content that includes posts, pages, and comments in an XML document file.

Step 4: To import the content open your respective blog and Navigate to Manage blog >> click on import content.

Disable Automatically publish all imported posts and pages if not needed and Click on IMPORT and select your downloaded XML document file to import the content.
