Open Collective 基金会发表正式声明，宣布将于2024年 12 月 31 日终止运作。
Open Collective 包括多个实体：盈利性实体 Open Collective. Inc (OC)，非盈利基金会 Open Collective Foundation (OCF)，专为开源软件项目提供支持的 Open Source Collective (OSC)，以及主要为欧洲项目提供支持的 Open Collective Europe (OCE)。彼此之间相对独立。
Open Collective 基金会 (OCF)为很多开源自由软件项目提供法务和财务服务，OCF似乎未找到一条可行和可持续的前进道路。Open Collective表示将尽一切努力尽快纠正所有受影响的OCF集体的情况。支持项目过渡到下一步。
