苹果和AliveCor纠纷判决公示：watchOS更新心率算法非反竞争行为
IT之家 2 月 14 日消息，苹果上周发布通讯稿，表示在 Apple Watch 心率监测技术的法律纠纷中获胜，否定了原告 AliveCor 提出的反垄断指控。
该案件出于保密方面的原因，当时并未披露相关的细节，不过主审该案件的法官本周发布公开判决书，分享了苹果和 AliveCor 诉讼的更多细节。

该案核心围绕着 Apple Watch 的心率算法展开，苹果公司于 2018 年升级推出 watchOS 5 更新，将“心率路径优化器”算法（HRPO）升级为“心率神经网络”算法（HRNN）。 AliveCor 认为，这些变化损害了其 SmartRhythm 功能的使用体验，该功能可在自己的 watchOS 应用程序中使用。 随后，AliveCor 公司于 2021 年 5 月提起反垄断诉讼，称苹果公司应该继续维持使用 HRPO 算法，但苹果公司发现 HRNN 更准确因此没有选择回滚。
美国地区法官杰弗里・怀特（Jeffrey White）做出了有利于苹果公司的裁决，称苹果公司对 watchOS 的改动不属于反竞争行为，此案不应由陪审团审理。值得注意的是，法院还驳回了 AliveCor 关于苹果违反加州《反不正当竞争法》的指控。
