苹果据称计划收购 Brighter AI 以强化 Vision Pro 隐私保护功能
据 9to5Mac 称，苹果计划收购一家专门从事匿名化人脸和车牌数据的德国人工智能初创公司——Brighter AI，其目的在于利用此次收购来强化 Apple Vision Pro 的隐私功能。
公开资料显示，Brighter AI 成立于 2017 年，最后一次获得投资者融资是在 2023 年 2 月。借助该公司的 AI 技术，苹果可以在不模糊照片的前提下抹掉隐私数据。
如图所示，Brighter AI 的技术能够在保持自然外观的同时处理图片，使第三方无法识别主体对象，主要针对人脸和车牌等隐私数据。
9to5Mac 认为，Brighter AI 的深度自然匿名 2.0 技术（Deep Natural Anonymization 2.0）有望在各种苹果产品中得到应用，但目前最需要的应该是 Apple Vision Pro 和 Apple Maps。
