Frigoglass Names its New Group CEO

Frigoglass Group has welcomed Serge Maurice Charles Joris to its senior leadership team as Group CEO, effective from February 1, 2024.

With a background in Computer Science and Business Engineering, Mr. Joris brings a blend of innovation, entrepreneurship, and agility. During his extensive career, Joris held executive and senior management roles in various companies across Europe, Asia, and the USA, ranging from start-ups to family-owned firms to global multi-industrial conglomerates. Before joining Frigoglass, he served as CEO and President of Girbau Group, a multinational company based in Barcelona with a global presence. Prior to that, Joris spent 15 years at Dover Corporation, where he served as CEO and President of Hydro Systems and held leadership roles at Markem-Imaje.

Serge Joris expressed his delight at joining Frigoglass, highlighting the company’s diversified portfolio that includes innovative commercial and consumer coolers, advanced glass packaging solutions, and top-class Asset Performance Services across Europe, Asia, and Africa. He conveyed his appreciation for the trust of the Board of Directors and expressed eagerness to leverage his expertise for the Group’s success. Joris looks forward to collaborating with the dedicated team that has positioned Frigoglass, Betaglass, and Frigoserve as leading suppliers to iconic beverage brands. He expressed confidence in the opportunities ahead for Frigoglass, emphasizing the company’s legacy of innovation, quality, global production network, and strong customer relationships as foundations for future rapid growth.
