Hello everyone! I am kinda new in this world and I have been trying to solve this issue all day with no results.
I am modifying an existing Webi report. Let's say that it looks like this:
| Client ID | Client Name | Material | Sales | Quantity |
| 1 | A | X | 1,000 | 3 |
| 2 | B | Y | 100 | 2 |
| 3 | C | Z | 10 | 1 |
Some of the materials in this report are kits which are composed of other materials. I have these kits mapped in another query that looks like this:
| Kit | Kit component | % of Sales | Quantity per kit |
| X | AA | 10 | 1 |
| X | AB | 50 | 2 |
| X | AC | 40 | 3 |
| Y | BA | 80 | 4 |
| Y | BB | 20 | 5 |
I need to modify the first report so I can bring the details of the kit's component by crossing the "Material" column with the "Kit" column. I also need to multiply the Sales by the % if the material happens to be a kit and multiply the quantities of each component by the quantities of kits sold so I can get the amount of components sold in total. The end result should look like this:
| Client ID | Client Name | Material | Kit component | Sales | Quantity |
| 1 | A | X | AA | 100 | 3 |
| 1 | A | X | AB | 500 | 6 |
| 1 | A | X | AC | 400 | 9 |
| 2 | B | Y | BA | 80 | 8 |
| 2 | B | Y | BC | 20 | 10 |
| 3 | C | Z | 10 | 1 |
I was merged the Material dimension from the report with the kit dimension of the table but for the life of me I have not been able to bring the kit components and much less make the calculations for the new Sales and Quantities.
Is this possible in a Webi report?
