Pixxel Welcomes William McCombe in the Role of CFO

Pixxel has appointed William McCombe as its new Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, McCombe will oversee Pixxel’s accounting, financial planning, capital raising, treasury, legal, and regulatory functions, supporting the company’s mission to revolutionize earth observation through cutting-edge hyperspectral satellite technology.

Pixxel, a pioneering company in innovative hyperspectral earth-imaging technology, plans to launch six satellites in 2024 and eighteen more by 2025 to create a health monitor for the planet.

McCombe’s previous roles include serving as CFO at Maxar, where he led the $3.5 billion merger with Digital Globe, and CFO at Velo3D, where he led the company’s IPO transaction. He has significant industry experience in space imagery and satellite manufacturing businesses, coupled with a proven track record in financial management, capital raising, M&A, investor relations, and more.
