Vision Pro is available for preorder next week, and if you’re planning on buying one, you’ll want to use it as its Mac Virtual Display display to expand your desktop to “an enormous, private, portable 4K display.” We don’t know the requirements just yet, but we assume you’ll need a newer Mac, and today we’ve got a killer deal on a great one: Amazon is selling the 15-inch MacBook Air with 256GB of storage for $1,049 and the 512GB model for $1,249, a savings of $250 and the best price we’ve ever seen.

Of course, even without Vision Pro, the 15-inch MacBook Air is one of the best laptops around, with a gorgeous Liquid Retina display and a thin and light design that makes it easy to slip into a bag or backpack. You’ll also get a speedy M2 processor, all-day battery life, fast charging with MagSafe, and a pair of Thunderbolt ports.

In our 4.5-star review, we praised the 15-inch Air’s “bright, sharp and colorful” display, but that’s nothing compared to what Vision Pro will turn it into. So grab one now and get ready for the age of spatial computing.
