Support is great. Feedback is even better.

"I'm open to feedback on all aspects of Journal! I would love to hear what you think of the overall concept, as well as any suggestions for features, changes in the style, or any other thoughts you have.

Thank you - it means a lot :)"

Hi everybody,

As a certified zoomer who experienced social media from the rise of Tumblr to the takeover of TikTok, I have long felt we're going in the wrong direction.

That's why I made Journal. It's a social experience that's based on letting you get to know your friends better, or ideally even discovering new ones! It has nothing to do with looks or likes.

With a once daily journal prompt, users write a brief reflection which allows them to access what others are saying on the same topic. You can discover journalers from around the world in the discovery tab, search for friends, and always access your journal entires from previous days through your archive.

It's a simple concept, but I think that's what we need right now. Hopefully you can tell me if/how I'm right or wrong!

@markwithaceee, Journal seems like a fresh approach to online socializing; I look forward to trying it out and sharing my experience.
@markwithaceee I hope to see this concept succeed. I think connecting journaling (which I'm a big fan of) to some social media aspects, while getting rid of some of the flaws other platforms inherently have, is a great idea.
@lukaskratzel Thank you Lukas! If you have any specific changes or flaws that you think can be addressed, please let me know.
