1月5日消息，来自斯坦福大学的科研团队基于OpenAI的CLIP神经网络，推出了预测图像地理位置（PIGEON）项目，可以分析街景图片，猜测图片所在地，准确率高达92%。
PIGEON应用程序可以有效分析街景照片，确认照片的确切位置，准确率高达92%，超过40%的猜测，可以将位置缩小到距离确切位置25公里的范围内。
在和知名GeoGuessr玩家TrevorRainbolt的对决中，PIGEON连续6场胜利，PIGEON在GeoGuessr玩家中排名前0.01%。
注：GeoGuessr是一款地理发现网页游戏，由瑞典IT顾问安东?瓦伦于2013年5月9日发布。游戏会将玩家放置到一个半随机的谷歌街景地点，要求玩家只通过可见的线索来猜测他们在世界上的位置。
