India’s broadband connections increase to 885 million in September 2023, according to TRAI
- Broadband connections in India increased by 0.97% from August to September 2023, with wired connections seeing the most significant growth.
- Airtel and Jio were the only companies to see an increase in their subscriber base, while Vodafone Idea, BSNL, and MTNL lost subscribers.
- The number of active wireless subscribers increased, with Airtel holding the majority at 99.57% of active wireless subscribers.
