CubicPV Appoints Kris McBride to Become CFO

CubicPV has recently welcomed Kris McBride as its Chief Financial Officer. McBride brings over 25 years of expertise in finance and operations to Cubic, overseeing the Company’s financial strategy and executing its business plan. McBride will be making his inaugural appearance as Cubic’s CFO at the Goldman Sachs Energy, CleanTech & Utilities Conference on January 4, 2024, at 4:20 p.m., discussing the Company’s progress in U.S. manufacturing.

Leveraging extensive expertise in silicon crystallization and manufacturing, CubicPV stands as a premier wafer producer in North America. The Company’s planned U.S. facility will specialize in producing M10 and G12 n-type wafers.

Before joining Cubic, McBride served at Baker Hughes, holding the role of divisional CEO and CFO of the Company’s Digital Solutions Division, encompassing global P&Ls and international sites, with revenues exceeding $3 billion. He spent over six years at Baker Hughes, joining after its spin-out from GE, where he previously served as CFO of GE’s Oil and Gas Digital Solutions. McBride also held significant financial management roles across GE’s industrial & financial services businesses, including a five-year tenure in the Corporate Audit Staff. His career began at GE, where he established a twenty-year track record of fostering high-performance teams, achieving operational excellence, and serving as a trusted advisor and operating partner to executive leadership. McBride holds dual degrees in Finance and Spanish from Pennsylvania State University.
