If you’re ever in need of lessons in quiet luxury dressing, there’s no better person to look to than the maestro herself, Jennifer Lawrence. With her latest look, however, she also delivered a masterclass in cool mom fashion.

The Hunger Games alum was photographed taking her one-year-old son Cy to the playground in Beverly Hills, California, on Wednesday looking oh so effortlessly chic. For the mother-son outing, Lawrence pulled out several designer pieces from her wardrobe, including a black leather blazer by The Row that she layered over a boxy cropped denim button-down shirt by Celine. She paired the edgy pieces with baggy black trousers by Loewe and practical pale yellow slippers by The Row. For accessories, she opted for a tan leather tote bag by The Row, a gold charm chain necklace, and retro blue-tinted, oval-framed sunglasses. The mom of one kept her makeup minimal and wore her blonde locks down around her shoulders.

Cy, who Lawrence shares with husband and gallery director Cooke Maroney, looked groovy in a blue-and-cream tie dye sweatsuit and black high top sneakers.

Earlier this month, Lawrence had a loud mom’s night out at the opening night of Appropriate on Broadway, where she backed one of this holiday season’s biggest trends: the big red coat. The No Hard Feelings actor glammed up for the red carpet, donning a vibrant, slouchy cashmere centerpiece from the Row’s fall/winter ready-to-wear runway. She layered the cozy statement coat over a silky black sweeping dress that featured a scooped neckline, and paired it with pointy black kitten heels.
