12月27日，小米汽车技术发布会的前一日，雷军发微博向中国新能源汽车行业先行者致敬：“我们深知汽车工业之复杂，我们深知开拓不易，诚挚向比亚迪、蔚来、小鹏、理想、华为和宁德时代等公司致敬！”
随后，小鹏汽车董事长何小鹏发布微博表示，热烈欢迎小米加入汽车大家庭。“为雷总的新创业鼓掌，为梦想而奋斗的精神加电，有信心有办法的人，2024一定大卖。”
