Bastien Daguzan has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive of Jacquemus with immediate effect, a spokesperson for the brand has confirmed.

While officially assuming the position of CEO in May 2022, Daguzan’s association with Jacquemus had roots in the past. He had previously consulted with the brand during his tenure as the general manager of Paco Rabanne and had been a regular presence at its runway shows. He succeeded Simon Porte Jacquemus, the brand’s founder, who previously held the dual roles of creative director and CEO.

During his tenure, the vibrant independent French label continued its expansion, notably marking the opening of its inaugural flagship—a 3,200 square-foot, two-level space on Paris’ Avenue Montaigne—in September 2022. Additionally, the brand achieved a significant milestone, reaching €200 million ($220 million) in sales in the same year.

Acknowledging Daguzan’s impactful contribution, Jacquemus stated, “Bastien has been a driving force behind the business and its leadership. We wish him well in his new endeavor.”

In a statement, Daguzan expressed gratitude, saying, “I would like to thank Simon for his trust and the incredible journey we have been on together with the team. He has always been an immense source of inspiration; I am so proud to have been a part of this adventure.”
