华为发布备份软件开源，独立备份软件厂商前景黯淡
在12月20日举办的华为OceanProtect数据保护发布会上，华为开源备份软件，将备份软件定义为存储技术生态，独立的备份软件产业将不复存在。中国市场独立的数据备份软件产品发展了十几年，至今无法应用到很多关键产业，这种“me too”式封闭的发展道路证明行不通。
国内几个纯软备份厂商过去一直经营困难，前景更加黯淡。基于新战略，华为将重新选择技术生态合作伙伴。据称优先选择存储厂商进行深度合作，而不是备份软件厂商。目的是共享技术，共建备份存储生态，共同发展！
