It feels like just yesterday when I was admitted to the B.Tech CSE program at KMCLU, and now, after 3.5 years, here I am, in my final year, Looking back at my time in college, I remember it as a mix of exciting highs and challenging moments.

University Overview:

The campus is moderately large, and the university offers a variety of courses as well as engineering. The campus facilities like a basketball court, a library with borrowed books, a media lab, a canteen, a placement cell, and separate hostels for girls and boys. The engineering department started in 2019, and the first batch has already graduated.

First Year Exploration:

My first year started during the pandemic, so classes were online, but exams were offline. Teachers were supportive, and I even got to interact with seniors online. That’s when I discovered my interest in coding through weekly quiz sessions. Some students faced issues like bad internet.

Second and Third-Year Adventures:

In the second year, classes moved from online to online. Teachers kept helping, and we had more practical sessions and many workshops became a regular part of our academic routine. In the third year, I brought a fantastic opportunity for a 45-day training program sponsored by a foundation. This program led to the way for internships, and after several rounds, I secured an internship. During this period, I also participated in the Smart India Hackathon, reaching the grand finale in Bangalore, where I gained valuable insights.

Final Year Triumphs:

Now in my final year, I am the second batch that will graduate this year. I observed my seniors securing placements in companies such as Genpact, Nissan, Renault, Byju’s, and uCertify etc. It has been motivating. Currently, interning at a place where I received a pre-placement offer, the overall experience has been enriching.
