用 jc 將常見的 CLI 指令輸出轉成 JSON 或是 YAML

看到「kellyjonbrazil/jc」這個專案，展試一下就可以理解用途了：(最後接 jq 只是為了 pretty print)

覺得可以開始用的原因是發現從 Ubuntu 22.04 開始，在官方的 APT repository 有把 jc 包進去了，裝起來會簡單不少。

雖然 22.04 裡面包的版本是 1.17.3 (現在是 1.23.6)，但這個版本已經支援不少格式了。

之後在 shell script 裡面自己 grep + sed 組到起笑的時候，可以考慮加掛 jc + jq 的組合技來解決，不過缺點就是要額外裝...

在 CLI 下開關以及查詢 EC2 的狀態...

有時候需要開 Ubuntu 測試東西，會在 AWS 上開 EC2 起來測試，但開 console 太麻煩了，寫幾個 function 丟進 shell script 裡面比較乾脆。其中查詢 Ubuntu AMI 的程式出自「How do I know what Ubuntu AMI to launch on EC2?」這邊。 在 ec2.ls() 裡，我的 jq 版本比較舊，不過不影響我的 copy & paste，所以就沒有 hack 他了。新版的應該可以多加上 | @tsv 變成 tab 隔開 (沒測過，查資料時查到而已)。 在 ec2.run() 裡，我這邊是先到 console 上查出 security group…

PChome 24h 連線會慢的原因...

Update：續篇請參考「PChome 24h 連線會慢的原因... (續篇)」。 tl;dr：因為他們的 DNS servers 不會對 IPv6 的 AAAA record 正確的回應 NXDOMAIN，導致 DNS resolver 會不斷嘗試。 好像一行就把原因講完了啊，還是多寫一些細節好了。 起因於我的電腦連 PChome 24h 時常常會卡住，Google Chrome 會寫「Resolving host...」，於是就花了些時間找這個問題。 一開始先用幾個工具測試，發現 host 會卡，但不知道卡什麼： $ host 24h.pchome.com.tw 拿 tcpdump 出來聽的時候發現 host 會跑 A、AAAA 以及 MX 三個種類，而後面兩個都會卡住： 24h.pchome.com.tw is an alias for shopping.gs1.pchome.com.tw. shopping.gs1.pchome.com.tw has address 210.242.43.53…
