Silicon Labs CFO Joins partner company GlobalFoundries to serve as CFO

Silicon Labs (NASDAQ: SLAB) disclosed that John Hollister is resigning as Chief Financial Officer to take on the role of CFO at GlobalFoundries, a partner company. Mark Mauldin, Silicon Labs’ Chief Accounting Officer, will collaborate with Hollister for a seamless transition and will assume the interim CFO position by February 2, 2024. Silicon Labs is actively seeking a new CFO to support its growth in embedded wireless solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT).

John joined Silicon Labs in 2004 and held various financial and operational roles before assuming the CFO position in 2013. During his tenure, the company expanded its technology portfolio and global presence, executed strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and elevated its revenue to become the largest wireless pure-play company and a frontrunner in the IoT realm.

Silicon Labs aims to continue its scaling and growth trajectory as the semiconductor market rebounds from a cyclical downturn. In its pursuit of a new CFO, Silicon Labs will evaluate candidates with expertise in scaling companies and crafting and overseeing financial strategies for rapid growth.
