Powerhouse Energy Group Appoints Ben Brier as Permanent CFO

Powerhouse Energy Group PLC (AIM: PHE) has officially appointed Ben Brier as the permanent Chief Financial Officer, a role he has been holding on an acting basis since August of the previous year.

Brier’s previous role as Group Finance Director at Scotfield Group, a property developer, provided him with significant expertise in commercial, industrial, and residential construction, including his involvement in project recovery within a joint venture for a sustainability-focused PLC.

Expressing confidence in the appointment, Powerhouse CEO Paul Emmitt stated, “He brings a wealth of experience in financial and commercial operations and has already made a substantial contribution to the company’s continued development and growth. His move onto the executive team means that we now have a secure and stable board structure that will allow us to make financial decisions quickly and efficiently with respect to projects and financing.”

The waste-to-energy company highlighted Brier’s extensive experience spanning over twenty-five years, emphasizing his proven capability in enhancing operational efficiencies and implementing cost-saving solutions.
