Hello everyone 🖖,

Let me introduce you Splendidis, a versatile macOS application that allows you to capture screenshots on Mac, iOS, and Android, as well as record videos from Mac screens and iOS devices. It also provides embellishment tools to add backgrounds, logos, and other visual effects to screenshots and videos.

Splendidis was born from a simple test of macOS' CoreGraphics framework. My initial goal was to create a straightforward application for screen captures and code formatting. The concept then evolved to incorporate the addition of colored backgrounds and other graphical elements to make the results unique. As I expanded to include video processing, the limitations of CoreGraphics became apparent, leading to a complete rewrite using CoreImage and CoreVideo. This transition allows for near real-time preview rendering, even on older machines (at least mine).

Today, with Splendidis, you can: - Take screenshots (of the entire screen, a portion of the screen, a connected iOS device, or an Android device - the Android SDK is currently required). - Record videos of your screens or a connected iOS device, using the camera and microphone to add audio/video commentary to your presentation video. - Add a background, a logo, perspective effects, video effects (on the main track and on the video commentary track), overlay elements (such as the bezel of a computer or phone), subtitles, cursor size adjustment, display used keyboard shortcuts, and add annotations (on images and videos).

Currently in beta, Splendidis is a work in progress. New graphic adjustments and video effects are planned to facilitate the creation of distinctive and recognizable user content. The app is currently free, but the final version will retain some free features while limiting access to others after a 30-day trial period. The base license is expected to be priced around €30 to €40 per user, with volume discounts available for multiple licenses.

A 50% off coupon will be available on launch.

Thank you for you attention.

Looks very promising, with quote a lot of options and effects. I've got Xnapper today that I'm using (or rather - I try to use - usually I end up in Pixelmator anyway).
@stpe Thank you. I plan to add other options, like AI integration to translate audio comments or subtitles, or even generate visual avatars for video comments. But before this, I must polish the current beta
