Windows Server 2012 和 Windows Server 2012 R2 的生命周期将于 2023 年 10 月 10 日结束。在此日期之后，这些产品将不再接收安全更新、非安全更新、错误修复、技术支持或在线技术内容的更新。
Microsoft 为云端和本地解决方案提供了迁移指南：
- 迁移到 Azure
迁移到 Azure 可以获得长达三年的免费扩展安全更新（ESU）。用户可以将应用程序和数据库迁移到 Azure 虚拟机，或使用 Azure Arc 将本地服务器连接到 Azure，以接收自动/定期 ESU 更新。
- 保留本地环境
需要保留本地环境的用户可以升级到 Windows Server 2022，或购买适用于 Windows Server 2012 的扩展安全更新（ESU）。ESU 提供长达三年的安全更新，在每年基础上续订，直至 2026 年 10 月 13 日。
