As of August 23, 2023, Gianluigi Aponte was the wealthiest person in Switzerland, with an estimated net worth of 29.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Rafaela Aponte- Diamant (No. 2, $29.8 billion), Ernesto Bertarelli (No. 3, $9.5 billion); and Ivan Glasenberg (No. 4, $8.7 billion).

Guillaume Pousaz is the fifth-richest person in Switzerland, with a whopping $7.2 billion. Magdalena Martullo-Blocher ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $6.6 billion, followed by Rahel Blocher with $6.6 billion. Thomas Schmidheiny is placed 8th with a net worth of $6.0 billion. Thomas Straumann ($5.6 billion) occupied the 9th position among Switzerland’s top 10 wealthiest people.
