China Cuts Interest Rates Amid Talk of Helicopter Money

China's central bank has lowered the one-year medium-term lending facility (MLF) interest rate by 15 basis points to 2.5% for the first time since June.
It also lowered the short-term rate of the 7-day reverse repurchases by 10 basis points to 1.8% amid a collapse in demand for loans.
