Any others experiencing this over the past month or so?

For about a month, I have been experiencing overheating that I can't attribute to any change in use or any newly installed app, and that isn't caused by the phone simply being out in the summer heat, so I can only assume it was introduced in a recent monthly Android 13 update or an update to one of my apps. Discussions about overheating didn't really help me find the problem, but included a few suggestions. I would appreciate any comments or insight on the causes and solutions for overheating.

  • A r/GooglePixel post discussed overheating issues following the June OS update. Overheating was discussed to occur from simply texting, browsing the internet and using Android Auto. Source:

  • r/GooglePixel posts about overheating continued after the July Android 13 update that some expected would fix the issue. redditor blamed the network modem because it happens when they travel. Another said that turning off mobile data always active helps. Source:

  • I read somewhere that I can’t recall that turning off adaptive connectivity could help.
