AI prompts, chats and shortcuts integration for iOS

I'm Vlad, an iOS software engineer with a deep passion for productivity tools. I'm really excited to introduce you to Prompta, my new iOS app and my very first launch on Product Hunt!

So, what exactly is Prompta? 🧐 While it may seem like just another AI prompts app (although it may be convenient to browse prompts on mobile device), it offers a bit more. 😊 Having been interested in AI models, especially ChatGPT, I've always been eager to seamlessly integrate them into my daily life. And like many of you, I use my mobile device daily. This led me to think: How convenient would it be to harness the full potential of ChatGPT right on our mobile devices? iPhones, known for their robust security and sandbox mechanics, primarily rely on the Shortcuts app for device management (I must admit, I didn't realize how powerful Shortcuts app is). So then I though, what if we could merge the capabilities of ChatGPT with the Shortcuts app. That's the vision I've brought to life with Prompta.

Long story short, with Prompta you can: - Browse prompts for ChatGPT and Midjourney (prompts for other AI models will be added soon) - Use your own OpenAI API key to create highly configurable chats, including model selection, system messages, and all extra parameters - Opt not to use an API key and still create Prompta chats - Export messages or specific blocks (such as code or tables) as images or PDFs - Place a Prompta widget on your home screen for quick chat access - Design your own plugin (shortcut integration) and configure it to your needs - Explore examples of existing plugins (shortcut integrations) - Craft a shortcut using the Prompta action, which is also highly configurable, to use it via Siri - Ask the chat to set an alarm for you ⏰ - Ask the chat to parse a folder with notes (I personally love using it with my Obsidian notes) 📁 - Ask the chat to find relaxing music and add it to your playlist 🎵 - ...and much more!
