Once again Microsoft has a lead on Google...and once again they will lose it as soon as Google gets their AI working. Nobody outside the nerd circles knows anything about Bing Chat or Bing Create - because Microsoft does not advertise or hype them anywhere!!

No TV ads etc.

Google will add their AI to Android and Google Search and then it's game over for yet another Microsoft product.

I don't know about game over but Google certainly has the advantage because they rule mobile and search where most eyeballs are. It's not really about advertising.

It's worse than that, Microsoft goes out of its way to limit how we can use it by restricting it to the Edge browser.

All Google has to do is integrate it's A.I. into Android, Search and Chrome, all 3 of which dominant the market, if Google does that, they more or less win by default because most consumers will use the default option, even if it is a bit worse than other options.

If Microsoft were smart, they would get its service out to as many users as quickly as possible, not restrict who can and can't use it.

But personally, I think all these online models are going to lose in the end with locally run open source A.I. models taking over, the reason for that is simply, privacy, security and custom-made for anything you want it to be, which is a massive advantage over what the online ones can offer, especially for consumers and businesses that don't want the online corporations peaking in on what they are using A.I. for.

And once again most of its products will end up in Killed By Google 😆 Don’t get me wrong. I use all three companies.

I don't get Google. It's taking absolutely ages to release AI products presumably over safety concerns, yet, Bard has one of the most dangerous features around that no other AI has. It lets you upload pictures of buildings/objects and tells you what/where they are. Someone on my X feed uploaded a picture of what looks like their local church and Bard told me the name of it and a quick search revealed it's location. It doesn't search faces but even so this tool is very dangerous IMO.

Didn’t know of this feature, wow SubhanAllah!

This is your biggest concern with AI? LOL This person on your Twitter feed never posted the name of the church they attend? Just pictures of it huh? LOL People do much more on social media to out themselves than AI will ever find.

Yep lol, if that's his biggest concern, god forbid how long that list is going to be over the next decade.

As A.I. gets more powerful, it's going to become more useful, but also more dangerous in the wrong hands.
